How to look after your bracelet: leather, PU leather and the steel clasp. There are few rules, and nearly all of them come down to keeping it dry.
Leather
Leather copes with everyday wear but not with water. Take the bracelet off when you exercise, shower, bathe or swim, and keep it away from perfume, make-up, cleaning products and other chemicals.
If the strap gets dusty or dirty, wipe it with a dry cloth.
PU leather
PU leather is artificial leather — not animal hide. It is cared for exactly like genuine leather: keep it dry, and if it gets dirty a dry cloth is all it needs.
The steel clasp
The clasp is steel and needs the least attention of all. If it gets damp, wipe it dry. Keep cleaning products and chemicals away from the clasp just as you do from the strap.
If the bracelet gets wet
It happens. Wipe strap and clasp with a dry cloth as soon as you can and leave the bracelet lying flat until it is completely dry, out of direct sun.
Water is what the bracelet tolerates least, so take it off next time.
Storage
Store the bracelet dry and flat when you are not wearing it, out of direct sunlight. Prolonged sunlight can fade the colour over time. That is a natural change, not a manufacturing defect.

Even though we work hard to always deliver the best possible quality and durability, a material can occasionally let you down. If your bracelet has a manufacturing defect or was damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible after discovering the fault.
Our aim is for every customer to be happy with their Bastard Bracelet.
For us to handle your request or claim, please send:
- 1)A clear description of the fault.
- 2)Clear photos showing the fault.
- 3)Your order number.

The right to make a claim covers original manufacturing defects and damage that happened in transit. It does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, incorrect use or inadequate care.
Claims that will not be approved and are not covered by the right to make a claim:
- Damage caused by water or moisture.
- Damage that occurred after bathing, showering or swimming.
- Colour changes or fading from normal exposure to sunlight.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by incorrect use, accidents or external impact.
- An incorrect size that you specified yourself when ordering.
If your claim is approved, we will repair, replace or refund the product in accordance with applicable consumer law.
