Returns and refunds

EU law gives consumers 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase — but goods manufactured to the consumer’s specifications are exempt. Every Bastard Bracelet is manufactured to the measurement you enter when ordering, so no right of withdrawal applies. We say this before purchase, on the product page, in the size guide and at checkout.

The exemption applies because your bracelet is manufactured to your entered measurement — not because it is handmade. If the fit is wrong because we made it wrong, that is a defect and we remake it. If the measurement you entered was wrong, that is not a defect — write to us anyway and we will look for a reasonable solution.

Think your piece has a fault? Write to order@bastardbracelet.com with your order number, a description of the fault and a photo. If it is a defect we send a prepaid label within one business day, and repair or replace at our cost. Complaint rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act can never be excluded and nothing in this policy limits them.

Approved complaints and cancelled orders are refunded to the original payment method within 14 days, usually faster. Klarna purchases are cancelled or adjusted directly in your Klarna account.

Entered the wrong measurement, or changed your mind? Write to us immediately — an order can be changed or cancelled free of charge up until manufacturing starts. After that the piece is yours, but we can often adjust a measurement at the bench at cost.

A defect is never your problem to keep — it is a repair or a replacement, at our cost, under the three-year protection of the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. Contact us and we sort it at the bench that made the piece.
